Claw caps are popular with cats because they can keep our feline friends from scratching us and our furniture, but what about dogs?

You can find claw caps for dogs too! They function the same way that cat nail caps do. They are glued over your dog’s nails, essentially dulling them. They can keep your dog’s claws from scratching you, tearing clothing, or damaging carpets or wood floors.

They will fall off eventually, and you’ll still have to clip your dog’s nails, which means they will need to be replaced. You also have to make sure you choose nail caps that are the right size for your dog.

Some dogs just love playing in the water. They’ll jump into pools and run through sprinklers, but other dogs are the complete opposite. That can make bath time quite a nightmare. How do you give a dog a bath when he doesn’t like water?

The trick is to make the bath as short as possible. If your dog doesn’t like playing in the water, he’ll be glad if his bath only lasts 5 or 10 minutes at most.

Don’t fill the tub if your dog doesn’t like water. Instead, use a spray nozzle. That way he isn’t wet all over, and you can wash away suds more quickly.

It’s really important to keep your cat’s bowl full of water. This is especially true in the summer when the temperatures can get hot and overheating is more common. Here are a few tips to make sure your cat always has something to drink.

Plan to rinse and refill the water bowl every time you feed your cat. That means you should be watering him at least twice a day. If you notice that the bowl is empty when it’s time to refill it again, consider getting a different bowl.

One thing you don’t want to do is purchase a giant bowl and fill it infrequently. Cats won’t drink water if it’s old and tastes bad. That means refillable water bowls are out, but a cat drinking fountain might be a good solution!
