11:13 AM Where to Put Your Dog's Bed |
Dogs don’t really have to have their own bed, but many canines appreciate having a place to call their own! The trouble is, dogs will only use their bed if it’s in the right place, no matter how comfortable it is. Dogs like to feel like they’re a part of your family. That means your dog will be more likely to use his bed if it’s located in an area where your family frequents. Try placing it in the living room or in a den. Placing it in a bedroom is a good idea too, if you want to share your sleeping space with your pooch. Avoid putting your dog’s bed in the basement. Although it’s dark and cool, if you don’t spend a lot of time there, your dog won’t want to either. For more tips on dog bed placement, click here, or call your veterinarian Ellicott City, MD. |
