The easiest way to equip your cat with a GPS device is to purchase a collar with the GPS technology already embedded inside. However, you can also purchase small devices that can easily be clipped onto your cat’s existing collar. If your cat gets lost, all you have to do is use your remote to find his location.

GPS location devices aren’t foolproof. If the battery dies, or if your cat manages to wiggle free, it won’t do any good. To guard against this possibility, consider having a microchip inserted underneath your pet’s skin. It isn’t GPS enabled, but it can make sure your pet returns home!
