Feral cats that live outdoors all of the time, may or may not be someone’s pet, it could very easily be a feral cat that was born into the outside world and it is more on the wild side.

Because of the lack of interaction with people, feral cats are very prone to attacking and biting a person that gets too close or tries to reach out to it.

Even cats that used to be pets and are discarded outdoors to fend for themselves usually turn against people and acquire the same “hands off” attitude as feral cats because they no longer trust humans.
