The ever-popular pocket pets... but did you know that this encompasses pets that do not even fit into a pocket?

Yes! It’s like saying you wear a shirt that is shaped like a pair of pants!

It’s a ridiculous notion!

Rabbits, chinchillas, rats, spiders, insects, oh my! These creatures all fit into this category, but so are the typical gerbils, hamsters, mice and so forth.

Spiders and insects are considered “true” pocket pets, and are more commonly kept as nature provides these right outside your door.

Litterboxes rarely come in colors that match your “color scheme” in your home.

So why not be creative and change the color of the litterbox? Any types of paint are out of the question, even paint that adheres to plastic should not be used.

Paint odors will throw your cat off and may deter your cat from using its litterbox.

You can wrap the litterbox with decorative wallpaper, tapes, or anything else that will adhere to it.

Decorative stickers are also fun to use. You could enlist the help of your children, if you have any, to help you in a craft project.
