If you’re a fan of the terrier breed, but are looking for one that’s not quite so energetic and full of life as the typical terrier, then you may want to check out the Welsh Terrier. This cute little breed is known for his folded ears and beard like undergrowth. He originated in the U.K. and is related to the Lakeland and Airedale Terriers although a little calmer than those two breeds. He is thought to be a descendent of the Old English Black and Tan Terrier. The coat sheds seasonally and requires weekly grooming to maintain. The Welsh Terrier is described by the American Kennel Club as spirited and alert. He is an eager to please and easy to train breed with consistent training.
