For instance, the Airedale Terrier barks only when necessary. Unlike other small dogs (i.e. Pomeranian) they aren’t known as yappers. This is great for apartment life. However, you need to make sure you have a place for the Airedale to run and play and burn off energy. He is an extra active dog that needs to be walked regularly.
