There are few things more frustrating than a dog that barks all night long. Not only does it cause you to lose sleep, but it can make you sad to know that your dog is in distress. So, why do some dogs bark all night?

First, consider where your dog sleeps. Is he stuck in a back bedroom by himself, or is he allowed in your bedroom at night? If your dog isn’t allowed to sleep with you, he could be suffering from separation anxiety. Try putting a kennel in your bedroom to see if it helps.

If you have an allergy and you just can’t keep your dog in the bedroom with you, consider getting another dog. That way, they can keep each other company even when you’re not around.

You probably already know that you should bathe your dog, but do you know how to make this messy chore easier? Here are a few uncommon tips you may not have heard about how to bathe your dog.

Shut the bathroom door. It’s easy to leave it open, but you’re just asking for your wet dog to blast into your home when he gets the chance.

Does your dog slip-slide in the tub? Consider placing a large towel in the bottom of the tub. You can also purchase grip pads for the bottom of the tub.

Lay a towel on the floor next to the tub and have another one handy when the bath is over. That way, your dog can jump out of the tub onto the towel and get dried off with the other one.
