Bath time doesn’t have to be scary for your dog! Here are some tips and tricks on how to make bath time fun.

Start by showing your dog that the bathroom isn’t a scary place to be. Bring toys into the bathroom and play with your pup for a bit before putting him in the bathtub.

When you’re ready to give your dog a bath, make sure that the water is lukewarm. Dogs have very sensitive skin and don’t enjoy hot baths like we do.

Slipping around in a tub can be a scary experience for many dogs. Consider placing sticky grip pads on the floor of your bathtub so your dog doesn’t slip and fall in the water.

Provide your pup with plenty of treats before, during, and after the bath. Not only will he associate the bathroom with playtime, but he’ll associate it with treats too!
