10:49 PM What Is a Teddy Bear Hamster? |
If you’re looking for a new companion to add to your family, hamsters can be a great choice. Consider adopting a Teddy Bear Hamster if you want to adopt a hamster, but are looking for something a bit different. Teddy Bear Hamsters are a long-haired version of the Syrian hamster. The length of their hair can vary from a short halo of fuzz to a long, lengthy mane that must be groomed. In most cases, Teddy Bear Hamsters are golden in color, but they do have white spotting and some are a bit browner than others. On average, they grow anywhere between 4 and 5 inches in length and live for 2 or 3 years. Because they are nocturnal, they will spend the majority of the day sleeping and the majority of the night active. If you want to learn more, contact your vet North Central San Antonio. |
