Cat Flaps on Interior Doors

If you don’t know cats that well, you might ask yourself why bother having a cat door installed on an interior door. Cats are private individuals and they value their privacy. In a multi-pet households, or if there are small kids in the house, the litter box and cat food will be safer behind a closed door. This will keep dogs from eating on cat food or having access to the litter box.

In case a door to your basement or laundry rooms is pushed shut by a pet or a kid, this can keep your cat away from his litter box. You will end up cleaning after your cat’s mess.

You can choose who or what comes in and out via the opening by getting a cat flap that works with your kitty’s collar. These collars have a small box that activates the flap to open as then cat approaches. This will help prevent other cats or critters from going through the flap.

Keep your kitty healthy and active by bringing him regularly to a Greeley pet clinic
