The fun one can have when there is an exotic pet monkey in the house can go over-the-top sometimes. Monkeys are just so tempting to teach things to, whether they be human gestures (nothing rude, please) and reactions…these can all be easily mocked by a monkey. There are hours and hours or enjoyment for both the monkey and its owner during interaction and playtime, but eventually, a more serious matter must be given attention.

Teaching the monkey about the dos and don’ts have to come into the picture at some point, mostly for the safety of the monkey.

Keeping dangerous items locked away from the monkey is good, but the monkey also needs guidance on not placing itself around objects like a stove, that they can turn dials and cause fires.
