Your Tipp City vet knows that you want your pet to live happily and safely. Part of making this happen is preparing for the arrival of your pet. How should you ready your home for a ferret?

Ferrets are known for sneaking into tight spaces, so be sure to that all small areas are blocked off. If this is too difficult to do throughout the entire house, section off a room that you can make safe for your pet. Be sure to keep small items out of your pet’s reach, particularly those he could choke on or accidentally ingest. Remove all items that your pet may chew on and cause harm to himself, like electrical wires. Also be conscious of places that your pet could become entangled. Once you’ve finished your ferret proofing, be sure to keep up these measures so your pet will always have a safe place to enjoy time outside of his cage. Read more here.
