What are Some of the Causes of Canine Bloat in Pit Bulls?

Bloat is a dangerous and potentially fatal illness that occurs in deep-chested canines or large breeds like the Boxer, Akita, and breeds like the Basset Hound. It can occur in other breeds including the Pit Bull as well. Signs of bloat may include an enlarged abdomen or stomach area, difficulty breathing, excessive drinking, difficulty pooping, unsuccessful attempts to vomit and more.
