11:20 AM Keeping Your Dog Away from Your Plants |
Whether indoors or outdoors, plants can greatly enhance our lives. Unfortunately, our plants are also interesting to our furry friends. Here are some tips for keeping your dog away from your plants. When it comes to indoor plants, it’s easiest to keep them out of your dog’s reach by placing them on bookshelves or on top of counters and tables. If placing your plants up high isn’t an option, consider spritzing them with a little lemon juice or placing slices of lime around the bottom of the pot. Dogs hate sour citrus fruits! Outdoor gardens are kept safe when they are fenced in. You can also try raised beds, or you can try sprinkling a bit of cayenne pepper around the perimeter of your flower beds.
