2:36 AM Giving your Cat a Bath |
Contrary to popular belief, not all cats hate the water. Some cats love to play in the water, swim, and even get baths. If your cat is smelly or has gotten into something stinky while playing outdoors, then he probably could use a bath. Ask your vet about how often to bathe your cat. Depending on the breed, your cat may not need a complete bath. A simple wipe down of the coat with pet wipes may be best. If your cat can have a full bath, use warm water and cat safe shampoos and conditioners. Do not leave your cat in the bath tub unattended. Do not fill the tub with water. Run the water to wet our cat’s coat and rinse it when done. Leave the water off at all other times. After bathing and rinsing, make sure you dry your cat’s coat completely before letting him run through the house. For more tips, call your vet services Frisco, TX. |
