11:16 AM Do Sugar Gliders Snore? |
Most animals and people snore. Why they snore can be for very different reasons. In many common cases of snoring the nasal passageways are momentarily blocked causing the air to vibrate when going out giving off the snoring noise. You can often preposition your sugar glider while he’s sleeping to see if this stops the snoring. If it doesn’t, monitor your sugar glider and determine if he’s snoring every time he’s asleep or just on occasion. It’s probably a good idea to call your vet and schedule a checkup as well. Your sugar glider is most likely fine, but just in case he is sick with a respiratory problem, have your vet check him. If the snoring is causing your sugar glider to wake up and preventing him from a sound sleep, call your vet as well. For more details on snoring and ways to help your sugar glider sleep and breath better, consult with your veterinarian Louisville, CO. |
