Caring for Your Pet White’s Tree Frog

If you need to transport your frog, move them into a plastic box lined with either damp paper towels or sphagnum moss. Be sure that the box is properly ventilated and that the temperature hovers at around 25 C to keep your frog comfortable. If the weather is cold, place the plastic box in a container that provides insulation.

Before purchasing or bringing home your pet frog, its housing should have been set up at least a week prior to ensure that the humidity and temperature are at the levels that they should be. Keep they terrarium away from any source of heat or drafts.

White’s tree frogs can be kept in groups and they will require a tall enclosure so that they can jump as they would in the wild. A terrarium with dimensions of 80cm H x 40cm W x 60cm will adequately and comfortably house six frogs.
