Dog nails have to be clipped and cat fur needs to be brushed. You even have to groom some pocket pets! What about reptiles? Do you have to groom a snake?
For the most part, you don’t have to groom a snake. Your pet will do most of it on his own. There are no nails to clip or fur to brush.
However, snakes do shed from time to time. With the right environment, your snake should be able to shed effectively on his own. However, if you notice that he’s struggling, you may have to provide him with a shallow dish of water. Give him a chance to soak and you may be able to peel away some of the dead skin. Just make sure you don’t pull any skin that isn’t ready.
For help assisting your snake while he’s shedding, call your veterinary clinic Dunedin, FL.

Your dog enjoys spending as much time with you as he can, and he gets excited when he gets to accompany you when you head out of the house. However, sometimes when you’re trying to get out quickly it can be a hassle to get everything together for your pet in a timely manner. This is where a car it can come in handy.
The idea behind a canine car kit is to have everything your dog will need on hand already in your vehicle. Not everything will be able to sit in the car long term, and items like water and treats will have to be added on a per-trip basis, but there are a lot of things that you can toss in ahead of time. Think about things your pet will need, like a canine first aid kit, a towel, a blanket, a water dish and some toys. For additional information, please contact your Ceres Veterinary Clinic.

Your cat is a wonderful companion, and you love spending as much time with her as you can. The guests that enter your home want to do so as well, so make sure to take the necessary precautions to help keep your pet safe.
Talk to your guests about your pet, and make sure they understand the boundaries that you have set in place, like refraining from offering her food from their plates. This is a great opportunity to also give them pointers on what your pet likes, and how to have a positive interaction with her. Because not all people are familiar with how to interact with a cat, many will be grateful for the tips. Also, make a point to offer your pet proper supervision in case any reminders are necessary. For additional information, please contact your local Fayetteville, NC veterinarian.
