Dogs have many different ways to tell you that something is wrong with them or even right with them.
If a dog is barking, there are many ways you can take that. For example, if your dog barks and it is wagging its tail, then chances are your dog is in a good mood. However, if your dog barks, and its tail is down, its ears are back, and its body is low to the ground, chances are your dog is angry and on the defensive about something.
See where this is going?
You can’t just tell how a dog is feeling based on its mouth alone; you have to identify its body language as well to know what your dog is trying to say or how it’s trying to express its feelings.
If a dog whines, chances are your dog is either in pain or it’s guilty because it just got caught doing something wrong.

When we see a pile of dog feces on the ground, we react from the concept of seeing it, and possibly smelling it.
Dogs almost solely rely on their sense of smell for many things. Even if a dog sees something familiar, it will only truly recognize the object if it smells it.
Dogs are not hardwired to look at a pile of dog feces and say “Oh, that’s dog feces.” A dog is hardwired to actually have to go up and smell the dog feces before it knows properly what it is.
It’s an odd behaviour, all things considered, but this is the way dogs function, and it would be a huge benefit for you to remember this.
If you would like to know more about this, or just dogs in general, visit the website for the vet Ceres.

If your eyes should stray to the paws of your dog, and you see one of them, immediately inform your vet about the situation, then try to find the damage zone so you can tell the veterinarian right away where it is.
A dog’s paws bleed from a number of reasons…
A dog may have stepped on a sliver of glass or something like that, and it is up to you to try and keep your dog still while you find it…all before the vet arrives at your house or you go to the clinic, which is usually the more preferred and accessible method.
It must be stressed however, that you really should not leave your dog’s paw unattended, as that makes it a prime target for infections and diseases to enter your dog’s body through that cut.
