Walking your Beagle in the warmer months of spring and summer can be very different from walking him in the fall and winter. During these warmer months you will want to make sure you keep your Beagle cool and hydrated while on his walk. Your vet may recommend keeping your Beagle indoors more often and not walking him during the hottest part of the day. If you do go for a walk during a hot part of the day make sure you take water with you. Walk for a short distance and stop for a water break for yourself and your Beagle. Avoid walking in the open sunlight and instead find shady areas to walk. You may want to take your dog to an indoor dog park if possible.
