Car Rides

An unrestrained dog could become seriously hurt in the event of an accident, so be sure to keep your pooch properly harnessed or secured in a pet carrier. Keep windows rolled up enough to prevent Fido from escaping while driving and never leave your pet unattended in a parked vehicle, even if the windows are cracked open.

Air Travel

First, check with your airline of choice to learn about their pet travel policy. Make sure the crate you’ve chosen is comfortable and secure if your pup must be checked into the cargo area of the plane. You may want to freeze some water so it doesn’t spill while transporting but will thaw in time for your pet to have a drink while in flight.
