The best way to help your cat teethe without destroying your furniture, which likely cost you a pretty penny, is to consider introducing it to a small amount of catnip, just enough for your cat to be drawn to it, as large amounts at that age can be dangerous to a young cat. Rub some catnip on the object you want your cat to teethe on, again, not too much, and if your cat likes the catnip, it’ll start teething on that object.

Keep it up until your cat finally ceases teething, and presto! You furniture escaped Catzilla’s fangs of doom…so to speak…
