1:13 PM Teaching your puppy not to bite |
Your puppy is a big part of your life, and you really enjoy being able to play with her as much as you can. However, she tends to bite when interacting with you. Why does she do this and how can you get her to stop? Your puppy bites because she is naturally inclined to do so. This means that she bites when interacting with other dogs and doesn’t realize that this isn’t appropriate behavior when it comes to doing the same with humans. She needs to learn this in order to stop. When she bites, you will need to stop interacting with her for a time. This will show her that it actually ends play time. Since she wants your attention, she will likely refrain from doing so once she’s made the connection between the two. For additional information, please contact your local Lafayette, LA vet.
