Registering your Purebred Manx with the CFA

Registering your purebred Manx cat in the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) is encouraged to not only help track purebred breeds, but to also provide you with a community of support on your journey of owning a Manx. The CFA represents cats, owners, and includes the largest purebred cat registry in the world. You can learn more about the CFA by going to their website and reading sections like the “About” section. Registration with the CFA is needed if you intend to show your Manx as well. For registration with the CFA you will need to submit an application along with certain information that you should have received on a blue or yellow slip from your Manx’s breeder. Blue slips require for you to pay the application fees for registration with the CFA. Yellow slips indicate that the breeder has already paid for registration. You may need additional records from your vet Frederick, MD to register. Read more here.
