Do a bit of grooming before bath time. Brush your cat to get rid of stray hairs and consider clipping his nails. If you don’t want to clip your cat’s nails, consider purchasing nail caps so your cat can’t scratch you during his bath.

Tire your kitty out before bath time. Spend time playing with him indoors or let him run around outside, if he’s allowed outdoors.

Lay a towel down in the bottom of the tub so your cat doesn’t slip around. Using a removable shower head is the easiest and fastest way to get your cat clean.
