Horner wanted to develop a panther looking cat with exotic eyes and all black fur. She was inspired by the leopard and other wild cats of India, which is where the name Bombay came from. The Bombay is intelligent, curious, affectionate, loyal, and mischievous. He can be trained to do tricks including play fetch and walk on a leash. The Bombay loves to be around people and enjoys a good nap in his owner’s lap. The Bombay can be between 6 and 12 pounds and live between 15 and 20 years.
