Look at his eyes. The eyes should be clear, bright, and white around the eyeball. Examine the eyelid lining by taking your thumb and gently rolling the eyelid in a downward motion. The lining should be pink and not red or white. Things to look out for include discharge or crustiness, tearing, red or white eyelid linings, tear-stained fur around the eyes, closed eyes, cloudiness, or unequal pupil size.
