9:23 PM Cleaning out your hamster’s cage |
Your hamster is as cute as cute can be, but this doesn’t mean that he doesn’t accumulate a bit of dirt in his enclosure. To help keep your pet clean and happy, you will need to do more than simple spot treatments each and every day. Your pet’s cage should be more thoroughly cleaned out on a weekly basis to make sure everything is in top shape. To do this, you will need to find a safe place for your pet to hang out for a little while. Empty everything out of the cage, and determine which items can be properly cleaned. Throw away the remaining items, as you will need to replace them with new options once you’ve scrubbed everything else clean. Use warm soapy water for this, and make sure to thoroughly dry everything prior to reassembling. For additional information, please contact your local Flat Rock, NC vet clinic. |
