Holidays and special occasions all have their own sets of decorations that are construed as traditional, but they’re construed as toys by your cat.

Cats are engrossed in the pretty lights and colors of, say, Christmas, and it makes them want to jingle bells and deck the halls with boughs of ornaments, fa la la why, fa why, why, why?!

The “why” is due to your cat wanting nothing more than to play with these ornaments.

The noises coming from the decorations are also interesting to your cat, and all of this combined together makes for a cacophony of clanking Christmas baubles, all due to your cat.

Even when it comes down to birthdays and such, streamers and balloons are a fascination to cats.

Balloons are the worst though, as your cat will get a terrible fright if they end up popping a balloon…especially because they have sensitive ears.

Your pet is in heat and harassing you to go outside, what do you do?

Your first thought should be about taking care of a whole litter of babies as well as your regular pet. Is this something you are prepared to do?

If your pet is male, you still may be confronted with the offspring of your male, as the female’s owner may stick you with the litter just for letting your male outside when he was in heat.

Too many people overlook these issues and ignore their pet’s actions and the results from those actions, and the result is people placing ads in their local newspapers to get rid of all those cute little babies.

Unfortunately, the people who take on those babies are more likely to get rid of them when they turn full grown and go into heat themselves …. Now there is an abundance of irresponsible pet owners.
