If you suspect that your rabbit isn’t eating enough hay or grass, examine its droppings as they are very telling of what your rabbit has been eating. If the droppings are small, dark and irregular in shape, this could be indicative of a lack of fibre in your rabbit’s diet.


To keep your rabbit healthy, always keep its water bottle or water bowl filled. Its water supply should be clear and free of any dirt, droppings or the like. Keep it cool during the summer and ensure that it doesn’t freeze in the winter.
