Hedgehogs are solitary creatures, which means they prefer to live alone. In the wild, they do not live in colonies. Although male hedgehogs may help raise babies in the wild, they do not mate for life. They search and scavenge for their own food in the wild and do not depend on any other hedgehogs for survival.

However, in some cases, hedgehogs may crave companionship with others of their own kind. This is especially true for female hedgehogs. If you do choose to house two hedgehogs together, it’s best if they already have a history together.

Rabbits can be very stubborn creatures. Some pet owners even have trouble holding their furry friend without getting scratched. Here are some ways you can get your rabbit to cooperate.

Make sure your rabbit has his own safe place. If a rabbit doesn’t feel safe in his cage, he isn’t likely to want to go outside the cage. Remove any stressors from the area and make sure your rabbit has a place to hide away from prying eyes.

Let your rabbit out of the cage to explore without being handled. That way, he can get used to hanging out with you. Eventually, you can start picking up your rabbit, but make sure that all four of his feet are supported.
