What is Green, Hides Away during the Daytime, but comes out at Night to Play? Perhaps Your New Pet?

A simple solution for an easy new pet would be the Green Tree Frog. This little frog is very interesting to observe, as it likes to climb and be very active at night because it is nocturnal (this would work out great if you are a night owl).

Moving around quickly, the Green Tree Frog requires a friend (another Green Tree Frog, perhaps?) to share a ten gallon tank with that comes with climbing décor and things it can hide under.

At night, you will actually hear your frogs chirping and barking (not like a dog) at each other. If you reside in the U.S.A, you may even hear the same noises outside in a nearby pond or marsh, as these frogs are indigenous to the United States.

Its enclosure must be between 65 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit to see it live out its lifespan of roughly five or so years. These frogs do not mind being watched, but they draw the line at being handled.

If you are curious to know more about these frogs, or any different type of frog, go ahead and check out this site for the veterinary clinic Thorold.
