If Your Dog has Mouth Pain, it could be Due to Uneven or Misplaced Teeth

Similar to people’s teeth dilemmas, your dog’s permanent teeth may have grown in slightly uneven or misplaced, therefore not lining up properly in the mouth. Your dog can experience tooth pain if one or more teeth are not correctly aligned with the opposing teeth (uppers and lowers meet together). Chewing anything hard, like a bone or treat, could cause your dog pain and possible convince your dog that the bone/treat is not worth the pain.

During your dog’s examination by the vet, your vet will be checking your dog’s teeth and gums routinely and if your dog does suffer from improper tooth alignment, your vet may suggest some dental work should be done for your dog.
