How to Test Your Chicken Eggs

Do you have chickens? If so, you’re probably collecting quite a few eggs from the hens. If they’re not laying eggs, make sure you’re feeding them a feed that is for laying hens. This helps increase egg production and strengths the shell of the eggs as well. Once you collect the eggs from your chickens, make sure you wash them and then store them at room temperature. Room temperature will make them last longer. If you’re not sure if the eggs are bad or not, simply fill a bowl of water and place the eggs inside. Good eggs will sink while bad eggs or rotten eggs will float. Throw out any eggs that are floating. To preserve your eggs longer, you can boil them or simply refrigerate them. Eggs in the fridge can last three to five weeks. Contact your vet clinic Mt. Airy, MD to learn more. Or click this here: http://mtairyvets.com/
