There are a lot of wonderful treats for your cat to consume, but milk products aren’t one of them. Your pet may enjoy the taste of them, but she will likely have some digestive distress later on. This is because most adult cats are lactose intolerant and have trouble digesting milk and products made with it. Young kittens are able to digest the milk from their mother’s due to an enzyme their body produces, but this generally stops being created once they are weaned and begin to eat solid food.
