What’s your favorite holiday dessert? Many people would answer pumpkin pie! Make sure that your pet gets to enjoy this special holiday treat too!

It’s not a good idea to give your dog a slice of regular old pumpkin pie. It includes a lot of sugar and spices that can be bad for your dog. Instead, make homemade pumpkin pie treats for your furry friend!

Take one cup of ground oats and mix it with one egg and a tablespoon of water. Press the mixture into a muffin pan to create little cups and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Once the mini crusts have had a chance to cool, fill them with canned pumpkin puree. Just make sure you choose pumpkin that is free of spices and flavorings.

Your dog depends on his feet to get around. That’s why it’s so important to keep a close eye on the health of his feet.

Check in with your dog’s feet at least once a week. Make sure that he hasn’t developed any sores, or that he doesn’t have any scratches. Remove any debris or burs that might have gotten stuck between the pads of his feet. Consider moisturizing your pet’s paw pads if they seem dry or cracked.

Don’t forget about your pet’s nails! If they get too long, they can make walking uncomfortable. Plan to trim just a bit off of your pet’s nails once a week. If you have a hard time clipping your dog’s nails, schedule an appointment with a dog groomer.

Is there something wrong with your dog’s paw? Make sure you schedule an appointment with your vet Glendale, AZ right away. Visit website http://bellanimalhospital.com/ to know more.

There are so many areas of a cat to care for! Arguably, one of the most important areas to keep an eye on is your cat’s paws.

At least once a week, take a little time to inspect your cat’s paws closely. It’s an especially good idea if your cat ventures outside. Make sure that his paw pads aren’t dry or cracked, and that he doesn’t have any scratches or sores. Check for burrs between the toes.

Check on your cat’s claws. With a scratching post, your feline friend should be able to take care of his nails on his own, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t benefit from a quick trim! You may also notice that your cat is shedding a nail and could use your help.

Need a little extra help? Ask your veterinarian Glendale AZ for more tips on caring for your pet’s paws.
