If you’re considering raising a goose as a pet then you should check in with your vet Craig Road, NV. Your vet can give you some inside information on raising a goose and help you decide whether it’s something you’re ready for. Before jumping in you should read up on articles about raising feathered friends. You may also want to read up on the varieties of geese. If you do purchase or adopt one as a pet, you’ll want to make sure of their temperament. Some geese can be extremely aggressive while others tend to act more like guard dogs then pets. Geese can make a lot of noise so you’ll need to make sure you have enough space away from neighbors. Some experts recommend getting the “buff” geese breed as these tend to be the more docile and somewhat quieter geese. It is also recommended that you buy a pair instead of just one.

In general, a dog ages must quicker than a human does. Some believe that every dog year equals seven human years. But this isn’t always true since a dog’s age in human years can be affected by his breeding and his size. If you want to know how old your dog really is, just ask your veterinary clinic Columbia, MD  staff for help. In most cases, a small dog will have a longer life span than a large dog. Why is this? There are some veterinarians that have noted a larger dog’s cell growth seems to be much more accelerated than a small dog’s. If a larger dog becomes sick or develops a disease, he is much more likely to die at an earlier age because of the rapid growth of the illness. Smaller dogs tend to develop at a slower pace.

These dogs come in various colors including white, brindle or pinto. The Akita is docile and gets along well with humans. This breed does; however, need firm training and needs to understand from a young age that he is not pack leader of the human. The Akita gets along great with children and can be well behaved around other pets if trained properly. More details here.
