Begin ferret proofing your home by simply taking a look around and evaluating your living situation. It goes without saying that many household chemicals are dangerous to cats, but many cats end up at the veterinary clinic Marietta, GA anyway. Here are some tips on keeping cats safe.

Do not try and increase the concentration to make it stronger. This is especially important when it comes to the directions for bleach solutions.

Don’t allow your cat near any surfaces that you’ve cleaned until they have had a chance to dry. If your cat does come across a wet, chemically treated area, wash the pads of his feet right away.

When you’re finished with the household chemicals, lock them away in a cupboard that your cat doesn’t have access to.
