Eye pinning, also called eye flashing, is a common behavior manifested by various parrot species. It is characterized by the quick dilation and contraction of the bird’s pupils.

Every canine has a need for adequate and regular physical activity. Lack of physical and mental stimulation has often been implicated in specific health problems and behavior issues.  While some dogs require more exercise than others, most will need more than simple walks.

Many cats, especially if they spend all their time indoors, will need a scratching post in order to keep them from sharpening their claws on beloved household items.

Scratching is an innate action for your pet, and providing your cat with a means to exercise this need is a must. Evaluate your cat’s needs by looking at how he handles other aspects of his life.
