An ill-fitting dog harness will certainly do more harm than good.  When you are in the process of selecting the best dog harness that will fit your dog to a T, you should know your dog’s specific measurements, or better yet, why don’t you bring your dog with you when you go shopping for its harness?

 

A dog’s measurement is taken from the chest, waist and around the shoulders near the base of the neck.  Get also the measurement of their back, start from the top of the shoulders down to the rib cage.
